Don Said joins company as location adds equipment lines
Don Said has been appointed HVAC sales manager for Noland
Company’s Jacksonville, Fla., location as the business
expands to include NuTone Heating and Cooling Products, and
LG mini split system air conditioners, as well as
replacement parts for service and repairs.
“Bringing Don on board is part of our plan to advance the
business by complementing the plumbing equipment side with
outstanding HVAC lines and parts in our market area,” said
Denny Walsh, Noland manager. “With his ability to build
relationships and his technical knowledge, we’re very

Noland Company Opens first HVAC/R location in Louisiana
Southeast distributor serves a seven-parish area
Noland Company has opened its first location in Louisiana which will distribute HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The new operation, located in Baton Rouge, provides commercial and residential contractors with equipment and supplies in a seven-parish area.
“We’re very pleased to open the Baton Rouge location. It’s an area with great potential for Noland and fits in with our strategy to open locations in the right places with the right people leading them to provide quality products and service customers need in local markets,” said Jim Adcox, Noland Company chief operating officer. The new location is managed by Randy Marcello who has been in the HVAC industry 13 years.
Among the lines Noland in Baton Rouge distributes are NuTone Heating and Cooling Products, LG air conditioners, Larkin refrigeration equipment, Honeywell and White-Rogers thermostats, and A.O. Smith and Emerson motors.

SmartLite® technology in NuTone gas-driven products
extends igniter life
DAYTON, Ohio, Free standing pilot lights and earlier
versions of hot surface ignition systems (HSI) technology
improved the gas furnace industry when they hit the market.
HSI uses an igniter which, when energized, rapidly generates
an intense heat sufficient to ignite the fuel gas. However,
operating at excessively high temperatures shortens HSI
igniter life.
Since the introduction of HSI, SmartLite® ignition
technology was developed by NORDYNE and is used in NuTone
Heating and Cooling gas driven products to extend igniter
life, said Frank Wood, a Noland Company technical service
advisor. Noland locations and selected Winair and Winnelson
companies exclusively distribute NuTone Heating and Cooling
Products, which are manufactured by NORDYNE, the 91-year old
company headquartered in O’Fallon, Mo., with manufacturing

NuTone Heating and Cooling Products distributor co-located with Noland plumbing operation
In a move to broaden its reach with NuTone Heating and Cooling Products in the Florida market, Noland Company, a distributor of plumbing supplies and HVAC equipment in the Southeast, has opened a new location in Cape Coral, Fla., to serve commercial and residential contractors.
It’s the second HVAC company Noland has opened on Florida’s west coast since December when the Pinellas Park location in the Clearwater area began operation. Noland is a wholly-owned subsidiary of WinWholesale Inc., one of the nation’s largest distributors.
